Charles Gabriel penned the words "I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus the Nazarene" in 1905, and did so as an expression of his own awe and amazement of Jesus' love. Mary McDonald has taken that hymn text and expertly crafted a new melody befitting of soaring choral lines that more adequately express "How marvelous! How wonderful! my song shall ever be." The Orchestration includes a Conductor's Score and parts for: 2 flutes, oboe, 2 clarinets in B-flat, bassoon, 3 trumpets in B-flat, 2 trombones, tuba, timpani, percussion, harp, piano, 2 violins, viola, cello, and string bass.
