The piece begins with a magical snare drum rhythm, which intensifies with added bass drum, cymbals, tam-tam, and timpani. The music progresses to a climactic, foot-stomping celebration of the drum! This piece is scored for eight snare drums, two cymbals, two small gong and tam-tam, bass drum, and timpani.
